Welcome to theGo. By creating an account or otherwise using the site, you agree to these Terms. They're written to be readable; if anything is unclear, email hello@thego.life.
1. The short version
theGo is a travel social network. You can track countries you've visited, maintain a life list, tag passions, and connect with other travelers. Be a decent human and respect the people you meet here.
2. Your account
- You must be 13 or older to create an account.
- You're responsible for the security of your password and for everything that happens under your account.
- One person, one account. Don't impersonate someone else.
- Tell us right away if you suspect your account has been compromised.
3. What you post
You keep ownership of the content you put on theGo (photos, life-list entries, profile bio, posts, messages). By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host and display that content as part of running the service. We don't sell your content.
4. What's not okay
- Content that's illegal, hateful, harassing, or sexually exploits anyone — especially minors.
- Spam, scraping, or attempts to break or game the platform.
- Impersonating others or misrepresenting your identity.
- Uploading anything you don't have the right to share.
We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Your privacy
The Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we handle it. Read it.
6. Service availability
theGo is provided “as is.” We'll try hard to keep it running and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service, freedom from bugs, or that your data will never be lost. Keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we'll give you a heads-up by email or in-app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
8. Closing your account
You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@thego.life. We'll honor the request promptly. Some records may be retained where required by law.
