
Lauded as the most important structure of its time, and one of the most admired works of contemporary architecture in the world. The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, designed by Frank Gehry, is however slightly more outlandish than the other Frank’s Guggenheim in New York City.
A museum of modern and contemporary art, concentrated on American and European painting and sculpture from the mid-20th century to the present day. Located in the Basque city of Bilbao, this spectacular structure made of titanium, glass, and limestone houses a rotating collection, including works by Anselm Kiefer, Willem de Kooning, Robert Motherwell, and Gilbert & George.
