The palatial building exhibits sculptures, frescoes, and paintings, embodying the legacy of the Italian Renaissance. One of its most famous pieces is Sandro Botticelli's "The Birth of Venus." Other artists displayed at the Uffizi include Michelangelo, Rembrandt, and Leonardo da Vinci.
The museum is least crowded during the winter months, and we recommend buying tickets in advance to beat the queue.
