
The State Museum of the Netherlands, was established in Amsterdam in 1808 and today is one of the most breathtaking museums in the world. Completely renovated over the past few years, the collection of the Rijksmuseum displays nearly 8,000 objects, including arts, crafts, and Dutch history from the years 1200 to 2000. Along with masterworks like Rembrandt’s “Night Watch” and several paintings by Vermeer and van Dyck, the museum also has a growing Asian collection and vast array of prints, drawings and classic photography.
