This premier rock and metal music experience takes place every June at Donington Park in Leicestershire, England. Because Download hosts some of rock’s biggest acts, including AC/DC, Metallica, Black Sabbath, and Aerosmith, it draws rock and metal fans from around the globe.
Fans will enjoy music from five separate performance stages over the course of 3 days. Last year’s festival featured over 100 bands! That’s a lot of music. And mosh pits.
After rocking out all day and night, you can head over to the festival’s ‘village’ and check out The Doghouse, where you can rock into the wee hours of the morning with some of the UK’s hottest rock DJs. And, while you are there, say hi to Download Dog for us.
Next year’s Download Festival is scheduled for June 12 – 14, 2015. Early bird tickets are already on sale.
